Update: iBamboo Speaker Urban

My goal when I founded Triangle Tree was to create products that are both eco-friendly and innovative. In the past few months I’ve dedicated most my time to the development and marketing of the iBamboo Speaker, which is now available to everyone around the world. During this time, I have received question and suggestions from my customers about a plastic version of the iBamboo speaker.

I have been considering creating a plastic iBamboo Speaker made entirely from recycled plastic. In creation of the original iBamboo I gave people an alternative and new way to listen to their music. It was meant to be portable, light, and aesthetic.
A plastic iBamboo would serve a different niche. First of all it would be an active effort to remove plastic, which takes thousands of years to degrade, from our environment. Second, a plastic iBamboo would be more fitting for people that would like to enjoy their music in more extreme conditions, as a plastic version would be more durable, and less prone to damage or defect. It would still have the trademark electricity free design, available in both clear transparent and solid color.

I would like to mainly hear back from you, my customers, about what you think about a plastic iBamboo. I will be featuring a Poll in which you can vote. Any messages with more specific feelings toward the project (and even possible preorders) are appreciated.
